Today's CWCM episode is a Q&A with yours truly! I've never done an official Q&A on the podcast before and I have to admit... It was pretty fun!

I put out a call for questions in the 25 Tribe Community and got some great ones back.

Some of the questions I answer today include:

How do I find the right balance in investing my time between NUYU, the podcast, and community?

What does my 5-year plan look like, personally and vocationally?

If you have a business idea, where do you start?

What is something I would recommend researching before diving into an e-commerce or online wellness coaching business?

What are two goals on my bucket list?

What is one thing that makes me laugh whenever I think of it?

What are the top 3 books I recommend?

Needless to say, it's was a fun episode to record for Y'all!

So, sit back and enjoy July's CWCM episode!

3 years ago, Christian Zeron decided to ditch law school to sell watches on the internet. Now, his vintage watch company, Theo&Harris, is reshaping the online retail industry and is defining itself as a prominent leader in its field.

The craziest part is that Christian is just 22 years old and his team is primarily individuals around that age as well!

To say that this interview is interesting, inspiring and on fire definitely an understatement!

Here's his official and very cryptic bio:

I learned SO much from today's episode with Allen Gannett. Allen is the founder and CEO of TrackMaven and the author of The Creative Curve that releases June 12, 2018!

Creativity is such an interesting and sometimes extremely abstract concept. Often times, we can tell ourselves the story that we don't have a creative bone in our body and creativity isn't something we'll ever be good at.

In today's episode and through his extensive research for his book, Allen demystifies the concept of creativity.

Not only do we break-down how to harness your inner creative genius, but YOU got your questions answered too 25 Tribe! Right before I conducted this interview, I asked you what you wanted to know about Allen and his entrepreneurial journey and we were able to cover those questions as well in today's episode.

It's safe to say that this interview is FULL of value.

Allen's Official Bio:

Allen Gannett is the founder and CEO of TrackMaven, a marketing analytics platform whose clients have included Microsoft, Marriott, Saks Fifth Avenue, Home Depot, Aetna (Etna), Honda, and GE. He has been on the “30 Under 30” lists for both Inc. and Forbes. He is a contributor for FastCompany.com and has an upcoming book The Creative Curve, on how anyone can achieve moments of creative genius, coming out in June 2018 from Currency, a division of Penguin Random House. He was also once a very pitiful runner-up on Wheel of Fortune.

In today's CWCM episode, we flip the script and I'm the one getting interviewed on EB25. I know... Plot twist, right? ;)

Kyle Herron (a well-seasoned entrepreneur, popular past guest on EB25 and active member of the 25 Tribe) interviewed me and asked all the good questions.

We talk about where it all started, my views on failure, when to let go of relationships along your journey, how my faith and spirituality play a role in everything I do, my vision for Entrepreneur Before 25 and MUCH  more.

So, if you want to get to know a little bit about my personal story and journey of entrepreneurship, this episode definitely catalogs the highs, the lows, the insights and a lot in between.

I've had a lot of conversations with young entrepreneurs and Katie Eder takes young entrepreneurship to a whole new level!

Katie is an 18-year-old high school student and the founder of a nonprofit called Kids Tales (KidsTales.org). Kids Tales sends high school students into summer camps and schools to teach creative writing to kids who do not have access to writing experiences outside of school. During a Kids Tales workshop, kids brainstorm, write, and edit their own short story. At the end of the week, the stories are published as an anthology, a real book.

Since its inception in 2014, more than 300 teenagers have taught Kids Tales to nearly 1200 kids across twelve U.S. cities and eight countries. So AMAZING.

Katie inspires me with her tenacity, endurance, and persistence. She doesn't put herself in a box. She doesn't just dream big things but she makes those big dreams happen.

Welcome back to another CWCM! For those of you who didn't catch it the last time, I've officially named these Monday episodes: Coffee with Chelann Mondays (CWCM). The first Monday of every month I will be releasing a bonus episode for the week with myself either doing a solo episode on an on-demand topic, or I'll be featuring a conversation I had with a special guest.

Today's CWCM is with yours truly. I sat down with my coffee and went into detail about a topic I mention a lot but haven't ever gone into too much detail about on the show.

That topic is time-blocking. You better believe it. ;)

The concept of time has always been fascinating to me. It never stops and sometimes it can move incredibly slow, but in hindsight, it always seems to fly by. Time is our most precious commodity because we can't get it back.

So how do we make the most of our time?  Well, today I talk about how to maximize your productivity through the power of time-blocking. This concept has been a game-changer for me and I hope that it sheds some light and perspective for you as well!

An example of my time-blocked day:

4:30 am- Morning routine

6:15 am- Reply to emails, Facebook group comments, and post in the Facebook group

In today's interview with Larry Yu we talk Facebook advertising, targeting ads, building your avatar and also the power of compounding your focus.

Larry and his brother Perry started selling online at the end of high school. What began as a naive exploration soon became an integral part of their lives. Since then, they've built and sold two e-commerce companies before starting their own marketing agency, HighConvertingAds, which specializes in combining Facebook advertising with big data analysis for extraordinary targeting abilities. Larry and Perry have been directly responsible for over $2,000,000 in sales for businesses they've helped.

I also share a very exciting announcement at the beginning of this episode...!

This is EPISODE 100 of the Entrepreneur Before 25 Podcast! It's so crazy to think that 100 inspiring, young entrepreneurs have been featured on this show. We've heard their highs, their lows and ultimately their story of chasing their entrepreneurial dreams and goals. Getting an inside look into the journey's of each and every one of the EB25 guests has been such an honor.

Today's guest and the topic is the perfect thing to welcome in this monumental moment. I get to chat with Cheyenne Noelle about her journey from fighting depression to where she is today- an authentic and unstoppable powerhouse who's changing the world one self-discovery at a time.

The quote "change yourself to change the world" is embodied in the way Cheyenne lives and approaches her life. Listening back to this conversation got me pumped up all over again.

Don't miss episode 100 of Entrepreneur Before 25.

A little more about Cheyenne:

Cheyenne Noelle is a writer and creative strategist driven by human connection. She crafts copies for the tech, design, and music industries. Cheyenne's first journey in entrepreneurship came as a model. She built a career in 6 months without an agent. Today I have a VERY special guest on the podcast! You get to hear from my dad, Lonnie Gienger! You're definitely in for a treat. My dad is one of the greatest leaders I know. So to get him on the show to talk about his favorite topic (which also happens to be leadership) was incredible and such an honor.

Even though I get to talk to my dad all the time, I was taking notes during this interview because he shared so much wisdom:

A brief bio of Lonnie:

Lonnie has been actively involved in building numerous entrepreneurial ventures and has owned and managed several successful businesses over the last 30 years. His passion is using business as a platform to build a better world. And his purpose is to develop and implement self-perpetuating leadership development systems that draw millions of people around the world to experience systems for extraordinary life success.

Welcome back to yet another Monday episode! For those of you who didn't catch it the last time, I've officially named these episodes: Coffee with Chelann Mondays (CWCM). The first Monday of every month I will be releasing a bonus episode for the week with myself either doing a solo episode on an on-demand topic, or I'll be featuring a conversation I had with a special guest.

Today's conversation features another guest- Richard Moore.

We covered SO much more than just sales in this conversation including some major perspective shifting topics that had us both thinking deeper about entrepreneurship and life.

A little more about Richard:

Richard Moore originally worked 60 hour weeks in the City of London, before deciding to build his own businesses and help others do the same.

After building companies from the trenches up, by taking ownership of sales teams, coaching leadership roles and consulting with multi-hundred million pound organizations, Richard created his own company to help others get massive traction as they launched their businesses.

As he did this, Richard invested in many of the companies he helped to create and shared with the world his views on business, through the weekly live Q&A‘s he runs online, to speaking gigs in front of business owners in his space and his weekly blog. Richard also created products such as the Monetize You course, the Basics of Sales course and direct mentoring of established businesses.

Adversity is something we all face to varying degrees. Even though life hands more adversity to some than others, we all have a choice on how we choose to let it affect our lives.

In today's episode, I get to talk to Erika Ashley about how to turn adversity in our creative advantage. We talk about her personal journey with this and expand it to principles that can help us all!

A little more about Erika:

Erika Ashley is a Transformational Business Strategist and member of the Forbes Coaches Council helping millennial women turn their adversity into their creative advantage so they can skyrocket their visibility in the press and scale their business to six and multiple six figures. Erika believes that if she, a queer; over-weight; a chronically ill woman from a poor immigrant family, can succeed, anyone can. She's been featured in Forbes, Nylon, MindBodyGreen, Health, HuffPost, Thrive Global and more.

This interview with Jae Schaefer hit home for me! We went so deep so fast and really unpacked the concept of limiting beliefs, how they affect our lives and what to do with them.

Jae is so real and authentic. She knows how to break down the process of tackling thought processes that are sometimes so deep that we don't even know where to start.

A little about Jae:

Jae is a speaker, writer and life coach from Sydney,  Australia who started her own business at just 21 after quitting her journalism internship at a network newsroom to follow her passion for personal development.

In just 3 short years, she has published an eBook, launched a digital course, mentors a tribe of young people in her virtual mastermind called The Next Generation and coached hundreds of millennials on how to let go of fear and self-doubt and make the impact they were born to make on the planet.

Jae is currently writing her first book, has been featured in Women's Fitness Magazine, The Daily Telegraph and has most recently been nominated for the Beautiful You Coaching Academy's 'Emerging Coach of the Year' Award for 2018.

One of my favorite things about podcasting is being able to talk to people who I look up to and who inspire me. I've been following Lynette and her YouTube channel for a couple years now. One day, I decided to reach out to her and see if she wanted to share her story on the podcast. I feel so honored that this incredible woman said yes!

Lynette has been an inspiration to me in many ways but especially in her ability to stay authentic even while being in the public eye. I loved this interview so much because we got to cover a lot of things along that topic of conversation.

A little about Lynette-

Lynette Hoyle is an online personal trainer, YouTuber, and social media influencer. Her brand and her business help give women the tools, knowledge, and confidence they need to take control of their health and fitness goals in a way that can create balance and harmony in their lives and in their relationship with themselves. From college students to women in retirement, Lynette has helped many find a fitness and nutrition regiment that supports weight loss while still allowing people to enjoy their lives without fear or guilt regarding food or the gym.

Mar 7, 2018

In today's interview, we talk about company culture. Culture is something that we all know is important, but few of us are actually intentional about putting the day-to-day work in to make our desired company culture come to life. I am in LOVE with the topic of company culture so this conversation with Tynan Wenarchuk was so much fun!

From researcher to internationally recognized entrepreneur, Tynan Wenarchuk has had a dynamic and unexpected journey. In 2015, Tynan started Illuminate Culture Consulting, a firm that works with companies to target business growth through advanced people + culture insights. As the people fanatics  & the “un-stickers,” Tynan and his team are known as the go-to support during the chaotic fast-growth period of a company. With their help, your company can be sure to scale while building the world-class culture you’ve been imagining. Alongside building Illuminate, Tynan keeps a full schedule as a musician and fitness coach, travels the world as a missionary, and exuberantly volunteers for his church and broader community.

Welcome back to another Monday episode! I've officially named these episodes: Coffee with Chelann Mondays. Why? Because the first Monday of every month I will be releasing a bonus episode for the week with myself either doing a solo episode on an asked for topic, or I'll be featuring a conversation I had with a special guest. And, you all know I love coffee. So, hence that part of the title. ;)

I am SO stoked for today's episode because it features a conversation with myself and my business partners, Teliah Gienger and Kennedy Wilkinson. The direction of this conversation was all centered around how to have a good business partnership.

I talk about business partnerships and Teliah and Kennedy a lot on EB25 episodes, so it's about time that you guys hear from them yourselves! I absolutely LOVE this conversation because it's such a good representation of who we are and what life is really like in our businesses. I'm so excited for you guys to listen and can't wait to hear what you thought about it!

So, sit back and get ready to laugh because you're about to get a candid glimpse into our everyday lives. ;)

He builds businesses that support his ideal lifestyle and makes him happy. He doesn't just build them for the money and status.

In today's interview, we talk about and break down how Hanson does this, what's worked for him and what hasn't worked for him.

A little about Hanson:

Hanson is a recent graduate at Babson College, an avid traveler, and serial entrepreneur. His most recent business, Think Board, has created opportunities that have allowed Hanson to be recognized by EO as one of the Top 25 Student Entrepreneurs in the US and by BETA Boston as one of Boston's Top 25 Innovators Under 25. Think Board has been named the Top Collegiate Consumer Brand in the US, the winner of Babson's B.E.T.A Challenge, a finalist in MassChallenge and the winner of MassInnovation Night. When Hanson is not at the office, he can be found rollerblading around town, practicing yoga, teaching entrepreneurship, or relaxing in his hammock.

I really enjoyed this conversation with Kelli Calabrese!

We talk about finding your passion, chasing your purpose and then how to turn that purpose into profit. Kelli breaks down what that process looks like and proves it through her own personal and fascinating story. Kelli has had so much experience in the entrepreneurial realm and listening to the perspectives and wisdom she's gained throughout the years was incredible.

Favorite quote of the interview:

"If there's passion and purpose behind it, there has to be value that will generate profit from."

A little more about Kelli:

Kelli is a 32-year old fitness, nutrition & lifestyle coach and professional. At the age of 13, she wrote in her journal that she would be an exercise therapist. "The journey of taking an idea and turning it into a business doesn't actually start with the idea, it starts with the mindset that you take on as an entrepreneur."

This is one of my favorite quotes from today's interview!

Do you have a CRAZY idea but you're not sure if it will work or even where to start to try and make it work? Today, we are with idea expert, Kyle Herron, who really breaks down the process of going from dream to reality.

"So many entrepreneurs don't take the strategic steps in month 1 to 3 so they can flourish in year 1 to 3."

Kyle doesn’t want to just build a company; he wants to create a movement. As a founder and the Chief Growth Officer of siëo, Kyle and his company are focused on catalyzing independence, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Since the inception of siëo, Kyle has gotten in his hands involved in multiple global initiatives. From being a TED Talk speaker at 18, to working with the Malaysian government’s startup program, to building apps with underserved communities, to helping start more than 50 companies, to even teaching college classes, Kyle continues to support and spread siëo’s mission. He now is taking his progressive approach to tackle three emerging problems: environmental degradation, political instability, and automation. All in all, Kyle shatters any image that may exist of an unmotivated millennial generation.
